Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. Overview
This website (link.aljoshakonstanty.com) is a “smart link” hub that lists music releases and links out to streaming platforms. It is deliberately data-minimal: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and loads no third-party content. The only personal data processed is the technical information that every web server records in its log files (see section 4). This policy explains that processing under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German TDDDG (formerly TTDSG).
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Aljosha Frederick KonstantyRampische Str. 12
01067 Dresden
Germany
Phone: +49 176 85005206
Email: josh@aljoshakonstanty.com
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Namecheap, Inc., 4600 East Washington Street, Suite 305, Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA (“Namecheap”). Namecheap processes the server data described in section 4 on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of a data processing agreement. As Namecheap is a US company, personal data may be transferred to a third country; this transfer is safeguarded by appropriate measures, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in that agreement. Namecheap's own privacy policy is available at namecheap.com/legal/general/privacy-policy.
4. Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- hostname of the accessing device
- date and time of the request
- the specific page or resource requested
This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify you personally.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation, security and stability of our website.
Retention: log files are stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and are then deleted. On our shared-hosting platform, storage and deletion of the web-server logs are handled by our hosting provider in accordance with its retention practices.
5. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies. No consent banner is required, because no storage of, or access to, information on your device takes place within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG (formerly § 25 TTDSG).
6. Analytics and tracking
This website uses no web-analytics, tracking, profiling, advertising or social-media tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Matomo or tracking pixels). Your visit is not analysed or profiled.
7. Links to third-party streaming services
The core purpose of this website is to link to external music platforms - for example Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube / YouTube Music, Deezer, Tidal, SoundCloud and Bandcamp. These are ordinary hyperlinks: no data is transmitted to those providers merely by loading our pages, and our pages embed no third-party content. A data transfer occurs only when you actively click a link and thereby leave our site, and our site is configured not to transmit the address of the referring page (referrer) when you do so.
Once you follow such a link, the respective provider becomes responsible for any processing of your personal data (for example your IP address) under its own privacy policy. We have no control over the content or data-processing practices of these external sites and assume no responsibility for them. Please review the privacy policy of the respective provider.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” prefix and the padlock icon in your browser's address bar. While encryption is active, the data you transmit cannot be read by third parties.
9. Administration
The site's administration area is protected by password authentication and is used only by the operator to manage the published releases. No personal data of visitors is collected or processed there.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
